Yupp my Orlando trip ended... 3 weeks ago. Ha spent way too much time playing and walking around, didn't even have that much pictures taken! As I'm light-hearted now, pictures should be here pretty soon. Or... majority of you have seen them on Facebook already.

Once I'm back I tried to pick up my YOURS responsibilities and started job hunting!
Trust me the last 3 weeks sitting in front of computer, "stalking" job postings, cover letter and resume revising... etc has been aweful. and yea I joined Facebook to kill time.. ha.

Turned down 2-3 jobs because I don't have a car. Oh well...

Finally I'm settled till August 31st... though I whine quite a bit and thinking that I'm unfortunate. I'm looking forward to start working on Friday and I still believe that I'm so blessed for having all my jobs so far, people are nice, having a wage that I am not complaining about, etc. =)

4th day in Orlando. Clearwater Beach.

Apparently we had a more leasure day and I have a little more energy to do updates

Clearwater Beach... It's the nicest beach that I've ever been in my entire life... It's literally just like those on the website... pictures look nice not because of computer graphic skills... it is very beautiful

Sunlight keeps you warm, but you won't get too hot cuz there's nice breeze keeping your sweat away; or you can just jump in the clear water to chill... it is a marvelous place. the car rental and 1-2 hours drive from Orlando definately worth it.

We longed for rice I believe.. haha dinner at Thai restaurant.. nice + good budget + fast + yummy!
What else can we ask for?

Heading to Disney to stay and play there for the next 4 days... don't think we'll be having internet.. so I guess laters!!

BTW, went to Walmart tonight & they said I look like Mulan... lol.

Ringo won in the fight for laptop last night... so I went to bed early... hmm... Anyways here's the update!

So our 3rd day at SeaWorld was even hotter! This is absolutely summer here... I was wondering how people stand the hot weather in the middle of the summer here in Orlando... which is the peak season for travelling I believe..! I was like melting every moment... But glad there were areas that we stay in the aquarium areas so we were kept cool SeaWorld is a very jang Aquarium with jang rides!

The best thing was you can get pretty close to the sea lions and dolphins! If you are lucky enough you could've touched them! (We missed some of the feeding time, damn... )

Oh and we watched almost every show! (even including the Sesame street show which almost everyone of us fell asleep...)

Sunny still! (apparently I'm less tired today )

Universal Studio & Islands of Adventure (it is a challenge to cover 2 parks in 1 day)

Started with "Island of Adventure" but after seeing high school kids running around and everywhere, we just skipped to the classic "Universal Studio" & headed back to "Island of Adventure" after they were gone later the afternoon. [it was after 2 hours of covering 1/3 of 1 of the parks (darn there were like middle & high school group I could tell)]. We paid for fast pass for both of the parks. It was so much better. Was so tired of lining up (I know... it's pretty good already not busy season). That was a smart choice! We managed to play almost everything we wanted (just except the hardcore kiddy areas!) It was good! though a little rush but 1st activity that we're doing we are (actually we were... we are now tired haha) energetic!!

At the end of the day... after 2 "water related" rides... We were all soaked...

This evening : entire body soaked (including undies, socks & shoes...) and sored...

More walking to go tomorrow! but more relaxed I believe... SeaWorld see ya tomorrow!

Nice and warm here compared to Vancouver. hmm though the flight felt quite long.

Walked around and went to Premium Outlet here. more size here for me! I guess cuz there are less Asians here compare to Seattle?

I'm sure there are days that you'll feel stressed, pissed, thinking why is everything going against yourself... I sometimes feel that as well.

But... I am blessed in general. I am thankful. Happy to be who I am, happy with what I got.

Just like today, thank God... working on my paper wanted to get it done by work this afternoon-evening. (which is due tonight). Suddenly supervisor called me, work cancelled today and I am getting half paid... (free $!) now I can concentrate on my paper again, after having a good time and make my own lunch. Life is great. I think God spoils me. =P Good day in deed. Using metaphor if bad days are the days with cloud showing above you, today is the day that the sun is shining upon me. Allelujah.

Saved up for a year and finally settled to go Orlando for a week =) My trip-planning again!
Having naggy mom who wants to give me the best of everything
Having good education. Frankly speaking, university is there to challenge you right? =]
Come on, if University is just like kindergarten, then how do we prove ourselves the better/ more knowledgable people?
Meeting great friends through out my entire life
Having blessed jobs/ boss (Altera, Inventa, BestBuy, Dairyland... etc)
Having great guy friends that will give me rides with no questions (ha)
Feeling so satisfied after hosting events and got media coverage too!

Ahh... Life is good till you die. Enjoy every moment! =) The worse the situation get, the happier when you feel relieved haha! Positive day, positive thoughts. This is life, amazing and exciting life.

What can I do ne... send executives to the "competition" or not ne... Go... or not go?

Though decision has been made... I don't know whether it's right or wrong...

[Yes] I am suppose to send representatives to the competition... but...
[No} Consider it is the last week of school... final projects... paper... final preparations... but...
[Yes] I shall respect the host! So... I should send representative... but...
[No} Who shall I send? I have my year-end performance on that day... but...
[Yes] I cannot go doesn't mean others cannot go right? but...
[No} I should be understandable... like... if I don't want to be treated that way, I should not treat others like that... but...
[Yes] What can I do? Give up? that isn't right! but...
[No} I really don't want to pressure others! everyone's so busy already... extra-curricular activities are meant to be out of school time, not giving yourself more stress... especially when the person isn't meant to be responsible for the work... but...
[Yes] I cannot make people upset... we have our "promise" right?
[No} Sun-fu for another week? No one can spend time man... I gotta be understandable and resonable...

Wong Yiu-Ying?

As most of you know... my Chinese name is "Ho Hiu-Ying"...

So last night was briefing Wilson and Alexia regarding our Wii-lympics @ Startbucks in Metropolis Chapters... haha that's the quietest place we can think of within Metrotown... anyways =P

So by the time I step out Chapters and window shop stores on the way to Skytrain... I heard...

PA System: "Wong Yiu-Ying" please come back to Chapters on the lower level...

and I was like... Wong Yiu-Ying... that's me! Caucasians usually can't pronounce Chinese names probably... eeh did I leave something? probably my wallet? cuz that's pretty much the only thing that said Ho Hiu-Ying rather than Vanessa... nope I got my wallet, every IDs in there, laptop with me... binders with me... eeh...?

So I walked back with bunches of question marks... and then I reached Chapters... went to the counter...

Vannie: "Did I just hear that PA asking for Wong Yiu-Ying to Chapters..?"
Staff: "Oh yes that's a little boy that's lost"
Vannie: "Oh... cuz... my Chinese name is Ho Hiu-Ying... ok this is embarrassing..."
Staff (laugh)

Ok... yea... so I walk away with embarrassment... felt like I'm a lost child going home by myself or something...

OK Darn that wasn't funny.
